You can feel it in the crisp Valley air. And the scent of pine and fir trees fill your nostrils around street corners in cities big and small. The sounds are everywhere….in the malls, restaurants and on the radio.
Christmas time is here once again! It’s a time for family, friends and celebrations!
But for many children in foster care, Christmas can mean time spent away from their families, celebrating instead with their foster families or other kids in a group home.
Once again this year, Promesa Behavioral Health is reaching out to our friends and supporters to make Christmas a little brighter for the children in our care.
While you’re out getting ready for the Holiday, won’t you please drop by one of our partner locations (click here) and take a child’s name and wish list from the tree.
While you’re shopping, include the child’s wish list in your gift buying. You’d be amazed at how modest many of the wishes are! When you’ve purchased the items on the child’s list, simply put them in a gift bag and return the bag to the location where you got the child’s name. Please have all gifts in by Friday, December 23rd.
Please…do NOT wrap the gifts! The elves here at PBH will take care of the wrapping and see that your gifts will be opened by your selected child on Christmas morning!
Who knows? You may just find your own Christmas is a whole lot brighter, too!
